Letter From “We Have Such In Common” Founders:
Dear Young Ladies,
At this age, you are growing and maturing before your very eyes. It’s a time to embrace this growth and to enjoy the journey along the way. As you grow from a little girl to a young lady, you will meet others along the way, that share similarities with you. Although you may come from different socioeconomic backgrounds, different communities, different schools and have different thoughts, ideas, and dreams, there is still so much more that you share with one another. Embrace the differences and celebrate the similarities because overall, as young ladies, we have one thing in common…..we are all here on this earth for a reason.
As you peruse through this website, our hope is that you will find inspiration from our online magazine, and our “We Have Such In Common – Let’s Talk!” section. “We Have Such In Common –
Let’s Talk” is a place where girls like you, can go and openly talk about the issues you face on a day to day basis. It’s an opportunity to get to meet and know girls like yourself and to make new friends, share your thoughts and dreams, without judgement. We believe that through unifying young ladies and showing you that despite the color of your eyes, your ethnicity, the texture of your hair, your body shape, or the color of your skin, we can show you that despite these differences, you all have a lot more in common than you think.
We want to thank you for your interest in “We Have Such In Common” and the lessons that you can learn from your interaction with other little girls. We know you will enjoy your time with us and we look forward to growing with you.
Lastly, we’d like to leave you with the “We Have Such In Common” Pledge.
